Dear High School Parent/Guardian,
We are excited to inform you about the district's commitment to enhancing personalized learning opportunities for your students at Wilder High School. Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, students will transition from a semi-structured schedule to a block schedule designed to increase and deepen their ability to master the content in every course.
Each block will be 85 minutes long, and students must attend each class according to their schedule. In the block class, the classroom teacher will provide structured lectures as prescribed by the online platform Edmentum. After the lecture, they will have dedicated time for their personalized learning journey. The student will receive more detailed information regarding the expectations upon returning to school from their advisory teacher.
