Wilder School District has been chosen to pilot an real time thermometer illness communication system.
Kinsa Smart Thermometers has created the world’s first real time detection and response communication system to understand where illness is spreading and connect people to the products, services, and information that will help stop the spread of COVID-19.
This tool is utilized to help curb the spread of illness in our communities by detecting potential “hotspots” for COVID-19 outbreaks by simply monitoring temperatures within a location radius. The Kinsa thermometer is used when anyone in the family may have a fever. This anonymous information is then communicated back to the Kinsa database where they aggregate and analyze the data real-time to predict potential outbreaks of illness in your community and around the state. This information is then used to deploy testing and resources to those most in need before they even know they need it.
More information to our parents/guardians will be coming soon.
